Ever wondered what tampons are actually made from? Well, with over 80% of our 3,000 customers being female, we thought you might like to know.
- A combination of Polypropylene/Polyethylene/Polyester as a thin 'glove-like' cover that wraps around the tampon body. This 'cover' forms part of the tampon's constituents and is not the cellophane that individual tampons come wrapped in.
- Rayon/Viscose to manufacture the body of the tampon.
- One or a mix of Rayon/Polyester/Polypropylene/Cotton is used for the draw string component
The organic tampons we sell are only made from 100% certified organic cotton, NOT from any of the constituents listed above.. |
Organic cotton is perfect for feminine hygiene products because it’s natural.
