The stats are based on 2003 figures, and in that year it was a $140 Million dollar industry locally (Australia) and A$33 Billion globally. The Aussie organic market more than doubled in the following 2 years and in 2005 it was estimated to be worth $400 Million (source: Rural Industries Research and DevelopmentCorporation), 2007 is obviously going to be bigger!
